Does this really work? Yes. Pagers are not completely reliable, but if I am in a major city in the US, it is very likely that I will receive the page.
Will I wake you up if I page you in the middle of the night? You bet.
Does it cost money to send this? Nope.
What about harassing pages? Like harassing phone calls, they are illegal. Please do not do that.
